ROY ANTHONY WILLIAMS DIES
The Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands deeply regrets the death of Mr. R. Anthony Williams on March 12, 2010.
Mr. Williams has been a faithful member of our Church all his life. He has served as Chairman of the Diocesan Financial Board, a Member of the Motor Vehicle Loans Committee and Chairman of St. Peter’s Court Committee up to the time of his passing. As a leading member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, he was the founding President of The Anglican Men of the West Indies, among many other activities for the promotion of the Church’s mission.
Mr. Williams was also Chairman of the Website Sub-Committee of the Communications Committee that set up the first Website for the Diocese.
On behalf of the Diocese and on my own behalf, I express our love and sympathy to his wife, Pamela, his son Emru and his daughter, Denile-Ann, as well as his extended family. May they be strengthened and comforted by our Compassionate Saviour and may his soul rest in peace and rise in Glory.
