Christ's Passion On Stage

The Kingston Parish Church, in association with The Church of St. Margaret’s, Liguanea, presents “Call to the Cross” – a Jamaican play about the Passion of Christ.  This production will be mounted on Good Friday, April 2, at the Kingston Parish Church, starting at 5.30 p.m.

The cast for “Call to the Cross” includes several well-known personalities:
• The Town Clerk, Errol Greene, is the Centurion;
• The Head of the Kingston Restoration Company, Morin Seymour, is a Sadducee and
• Lady Hall, wife of the former Governor General, Sir Kenneth Hall, and a member of the Church of St. Margaret's,  will appear as Martha.
• Broadcaster, Andrew Lawrence, is Peter and in the lead as Jesus is Montego Bay theatre personality, David Tulloch.

They are supported by a cast and chorus line from the Church of St. Margaret’s, Liguanea; the Kingston Parish Church; the United Theological College of the West Indies (UTCWI); and children from downtown Kingston. Winston Ewart of the National Chorale and noted musician, Conroy Cooper, will accompany them. Well-known gynaecologist, Professor Hugh Wynter, is the narrator.

This play is definitely a MUST SEE!! 

The cost: $500 (Adults); $250 (Children under 12 years old).  Proceeds are in aid of the Kingston Parish Church’s Ministry to revitalize the downtown community.
